My mom always gives the best gifts. Like, the best. She must have gotten this special trait from my nana who was the exact same. Boxes and bags filled with individually wrapped gifts of things they have seen that brought you to mind. You can always see the thought and love behind each one. This year for my birthday was no different! Beautifully stacked boxes tied up with ribbon and a gift bag filled with hangers. Yes, hangers! You know, the nice kind that you should be using because it’s better for your clothes. Â My mom’s closet is full of them. Mine, not so much!
She told me she had been to a boutique who displayed their clothing on hangers filled with scripture and she knew she had to make them! Oh, I got my love of creating from her! She is the ultimate crafter!
With a Sharpie in hand and with her best handwriting she carefully covered each hanger in scripture.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8
My heart is confident in you, O God; my heart is confident. No wonder I can sing your praises! Psalm 57:7

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Psalm 139:14
Each time I pull my favorite top off a hanger I am reminded about who I am and whose I am. Is there really any better gift?
