Yep! I said it! I totally took Baby Got Back and made it about bows! But seriously, bows are crucial in any celebration and learning to make them is a must! I have a quick and easy tutorial that will have you whipping out bows in no time!

You will need: wired ribbon (mix and match), floral wire, and scissors

Cut your ribbon in 12 inch pieces. I like to use anywhere from 6 to 8 pieces. Your length of ribbon and number of pieces determine the size of your bow.

Fold each piece of ribbon and gather about 4 inches below the loop. Think of it like making a bouquet, being sure to mix up your patterns of ribbon.

When you get all the pieces folded and gathered into your bouquet take a piece of floral wire or a pipe cleaner and tightly wrap it around the part that is gathered.

Now it is time to primp! Fluff your loops and move your tails so some point up and some point down. You may have to work on it to get it just right but it will be so worth it when you have a big beautiful bow!

These bows are perfect for tree toppers, mail boxes, door hangers, wreaths, and packages!

Happy Bow Making,
