I love an embroidery hoop. There are so many possibilities! Have you seen the wreaths girls are making out of them on Pinterest? They are stinkin’ gorgeous! I need one in my life!

I had one lying around my craft room and decided to turn it into something for my sweet girls to keep in their room! This project is super easy, super fast, and super cost efficient! Let’s get crafting sweet friends! Here is what you will need:

An embroidery hoop

Scrap of fabric

Hot glue gun

Twine or ribbon

Mini clothes pins (I found mine in the dollar spot at Target)

Ribbon (optional)

To start off, separate your hoop into two parts and lay your fabric across one of the circles. Carefully place the other circle on top while tightening the two pieces. It is important to pull on your fabric to make sure it is completely stretched through the hoop.

Turn the hoop over and trim the extra fabric. Next, dab a little hot glue on the back and attach one end of your twine. You will begin to wrap the twine around the hoop securing it with glue in the back. There is no right or wrong way to do this. Get creative and start wrapping!

When you have the look you love, secure the end of the twine on the back with a little dab of hot glue. You are ready to clip on your tiny clothes pins. Oh, the cuteness!

With your extra twine you can cut a piece and loop it through the top to hang it. Hot glue your bow on and your ready to display pictures, invitations, or reminders.

Cute, easy and functional! That’s what I’m talking about!

Hugs,

Jessica
