I love any excuse to decorate but admit that I am not a huge St. Patricks Day decorator. Maybe because it is so close to Easter and Easter is my favorite! Who knows but I knew my kids would get excited with a few decorations and since I didn’t want to spend a ton of money I headed to my favorite place… The Dollar Tree! Y’all, I just love it there!
I grabbed a grapevine wreath, 2 strands of St. Patricks Day garland and this green, glittery shamrock! $4 and I was out the door! Ok, that’s a lie. There were like 10 other things in my cart.

I knew I had floral wire at home and some ribbon that would be the finishing touch!
This is the easiest project ever! All I did was wrap the garland around the wreath. Two strands was enough but three would have made it even fuller. I tucked the ends of the garland through the wreath so I didn’t need to use hot glue.

With a piece of floral wire I attached the Shamrock to the top of the wreath. I added a gold bow and voila… an easy and inexpensive Saint Patrick’s Day wreath!

Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!
