I just love decorating for Valentine’s Day! I would put a little bit in every room if I could! My top three places to decorate is my family room, kitchen and front porch! I just love decorating my porch! Sprinkles of red and pink is such a fun way to welcome guests. Or the Amazon delivery driver. Ok, Amazon is pretty much the only one who comes to my doors these days but still! I am hoping it makes them smile a little!
I don’t have a Valentines Day mat at my front door so I decided to whip one up with a Dollar Tree mat. I grabbed a heart I had in my Valentine’s Day stash to use as a stencil and with a pencil, I traced the heart all over my mat.
Once I had the hearts where I wanted them I began to fill them in with red and pink acrylic paint. Since it is going to be outside for such a short period of time and away from the elements, I am not worry about it fading or getting damaged!

Of course I had to layer the mats!!! It makes such a difference!
