It’s that time of year again! Time for routines, lunches, and homework! I have a love/hate relationship with back to school. I love summers with no bedtimes and no schedules but by the time the end of July is here I am ready for a routine. Can I get an amen?!

I love to celebrate going back to school. Not because it means my babies are leaving but because it is another milestone that needs to be celebrated! And if there is a reason to celebrate you better believe we are going to break out the confetti!

Having 4 kids in 2 different schools and 1 of them homeschooled we didn’t all start on the same day and to be honest the first day is always a little stressful in the morning so we celebrate a few days before. I like it this way because we aren’t rushed and we can enjoy each other and some extra donuts!

My back to school breakfast collection is mostly from the Target dollar spot. I have been collecting things over the years and keep it all in one box so when I see August creeping in I can quickly grab it!

Your decorations do not need to be fancy or take a lot of time to put together. Cute pencils in a mason jar with some ribbon is simple and sweet!

I made cute apple plates by simply using green card stock to cut a stem and leaf! For a placemat, I used scrapbook paper from Hobby Lobby that looks like notebook paper.

I’m not sure what they are laughing at but I feel like it may be at my sweet Maddy! Siblings!!!!!

For our donut cake I just stacked donuts and with some paper straws and washi tape I made cute little flags!

Target had a fun tape selection this year so I used it to wrap around water bottles and juice boxes! That is probably not what they had in mind when they were stocking the shelves!

Somebody, please slow down time! Another school year is here and this mama is not ready for all of the new changes this season brings but they sure are! Praying your school year is off to a great start!
